No, I'm not a combat photographer, but that is me, on my way to Iraq in 2004. I've been taking candids for years, but I finally bought a serious camera (and an even more serious lens) over a year ago, and at that point I started to get, you guessed it...serious. I've been on the lookout for "the shot" ever since.

I picked the name Soos Creek Photography because of its historical significance in the Kent, Washington area (and besides, "Dan Wright Photography" is already taken! Curse that other Dan Wright!).
